I found a sweatshirt that I loved, and it was perfect for the project I was doing. When I got to the cash register I told the employee that the sweatshirt didn’t have a tag on it. I assumed she would just price check it or just estimate what it would be. She said that the store has a new policy where if something doesn’t have a tag that they couldn’t sell it and it had to be moved to the back to go through the process again. I mean seriously?? I understand that it is to prevent tag popping but I wasn’t stealing, it just didn’t have a tag on it! And I don’t understand why she couldn’t have just ran to the back and checked it if it was going to be a big deal. She was extremely rude about it, and even had the audacity to say I should just go back and find something else, as if this isn’t a thrift store and everything isn’t one of a kind! This new policy is terrible customer service.
Thrift shopping at its best! Savers is well organized with a huge variety of pre-loved (and sometimes new), name-brand items in good shape. I love finding good deals here, plus their customer loyalty program is great.
Great and ever-changing selection of clothing (including swimwear) for men, women & children, household items like furniture and appliances. I’d go elsewhere if you want a large assortment of used books. Also has DVDs and cassettes, whatever people donate, really. We lucked out with a xylophone.
Helpful service, but note the exchange policy : Échanges must be done in exchange for another purchase. NO STORE CREDIT. It’s company policy. Thankfully, exchanges (must have receipt, must have original tags on) can be done at any Savers thrift shop nation-wide.
Ether bring back your dressing rooms or stop mislabeling sizes!!!!
Bought a dress labeled by savers as XL got it home and it doesn't fit. I'm a L this dress is a size M.
If your going to not let people try clothes on before they buy to make sure they fit at least don't straight up lie about the size.
Workers at this location are hit or miss as far as being helpful or even semi helpful. I don’t think they get paid enough to run the store. Prices are out of control, they still have not cleaned out the only dressing room they have, and the bathroom is horrendous.
If you like paying retail price for items in used condition, you've found your store. Old hag at self checkout basically accused customer of not ringing up all her items when she was still in the middle of scanning her items. Sloppy off center barcode didn't scan correct, flagged associate assistance, self checkout old hag questions customer about why all her items aren't scanned, than voids entire transaction and makes customer start over, stands over her the entire time just watching her. Like why don't you just scan everything instead of watching the customer do it! Very awkward and overall just inappropriate employee behavior especially when the issue was an error on the company's part and absolutely nothing to do with customer.
Items themselves were great, but the employee assisting at the self checkout was very rude. Maybe it’s because they have a lot of experiences with theft, but that doesn’t mean they should treat all customers poorly automatically.
Really? What kind of special people do you have working here that are willing to talk about you 2 feet away telling another employee to make sure you scan each figurine you're currently scanning. This is why thrift stores are dying out. Inflating prices on things that make you question why you're buying used instead of brand new from Walmart anyway when the people they hire to price things are the people they employ with the logic that those people aren't capable of being around customers. It's no wonder people who are worse than the floor employees are the reason the prices look like a toddler decided them. Ridiculously high or low prices and they never remove anything from the sales floor if they don't sell. A for profit charitable organization is legal code word for a shell company that hires mentally disabled people to further the tax avoidance plan that they claim is a business plan.
